POSitouch Restaurant POS System Specialist:
Provide technical assistance, service, support and installation of POSitouch to a variety of restaurant concepts. Duties including but not limited to installation of POS systems, support via phone, email, and remote control access, troubleshooting both hardware and software issues, and conducting training for end users.
POSitouch System Experience
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Configuration and troubleshooting of networking equipment including but not limited to routers, switches, and modems.
Assist customers in troubleshooting networking and Windows OS issues over the phone.
Create menus and databases using company offered software products according to customer specifications.
Conduct POSitouch software training classes for small groups of end users.
Perform installation of POS systems: creation of local area networks, installation of terminals, printers, and associated POS peripheral devices.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.
Proficient in Internet related applications such as E-Mail clients, FTP clients and Web Browsers.
Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.
Restaurant experience is a plus.
